Ticket sales this year will be online only and in advance. We will not be accepting payment at the gate. There are a limited number of tickets available. Once they are gone, they are gone.
We will be operating a limited, real world box office on just a few days, selling Early Bird discounted tickets without booking fees for those who wish to avoid online purchases or love a bargain. Look out for posters, keep an eye on this web site or follow our social media identities for more details.

“Home to one of the best

fireworks displays in

Leeds” – Leeds List

New venue

Topping off in 2010

The bonfire and fireworks have moved home to a new, larger venue in Thorner. Due to the popularity of the event, we’ve located to a much larger space at Thorner Cricket Club at Gesling Hill for 2019. The pedestrian entrance is just over the bridge, 150 yards south of the Beehive.

The display will be even more impressive than ever, there will be more space to enjoy it, and more room for the little ones to watch the display from the front!

Keeping a watchful eye 2010

Thorner Fireworks Festival has grown gradually over the last fifteen years into one of the best displays in the Leeds area. Well, that’s what Leeds List, the Yorkshire Evening Post and others have said.

It is a safe environment for everyone to enjoy a bonfire and fireworks, plus we are limiting the number of tickets sold and making it a ticket-only event to keep it that way.

Advance tickets only

Lovely crowd 2012

In 2019 the event will be ADVANCE TICKETS ONLY. We’ll be selling the tickets online and there will be no option to pay cash on the gate. We’ve done this to ensure that the event is as safe as possible and for your enjoyment.

Bonfire build team 2016 with their certificates of completion

Tickets will be released in batches on a first-come-first-served basis. Follow us on social media for full information.

Contact us if you’d like us to operate a limited box office for those who are not online, or for whatever reason don’t wish to buy tickets online.

The green build 2013

Not only is there a bonfire and fireworks, but there’ll be a food from the barbecue and a well stocked bar: mulled wine, beer, soft drinks and much more.

For those a little smaller, there is a safe area for sparklers run by the Scouts.

All under-18s must be accompanied and supervised by an adult over 21 years old.
